The Meatball Episode [Episode 10]

There is a spaghetti and meatball reel on my Instagram that I put together one night when I made a quick dinner using my frozen meatballs. It has been played over 9,000 times, which tells me...y'all love meatballs!

I always make my meatballs in a larger batch so that I can freeze them and just pop them in the Instant Pot with some sauce for a quick dinner. They can be added to just about anything really - pasta, a sandwich, or on their own with a fresh salad. I find it so helpful to have these on hand in the freezer for nights that I just want to pull together something quickly.

When making a large batch of meatball, you can leave them on a baking tray and place them in the freezer until they firm up and then place them in a freezer friendly zip top bag. If you place them straight away in a freezer bag, they will stick to each other, get smushed together and lose their round shape. Firming them up first is key here!

When you are ready to pull the meatballs out of the freezer for cooking, you can use an Instant Pot, or place them in the oven. They will be cooked in no time and will taste just as fresh as the day you made them!
